5 Places to Eat in North Carolina

Picture of a burger from Heartbreaker Burger, North CarolinaWhen it comes to the best North Carolina Restaurants, Raleigh and Asheville, in particular, are worth considering. While Wilmington is still pretty good, there are too many great restaurants to mention here. I’ve listed the top five places to eat in this city below.

Providence – Every year, North Carolina restaurants celebrate Providence as its top restaurant destination. This city is well known for its fresh seafood, gourmet cheeses, and hip downtown bars. By far, the biggest draw to these restaurants is the fresh seafood that you’ll find at every one of these restaurants.

Ben Wittich’s Brasserie- This establishment is the epitome of French cuisine. You will not find a less fancy French restaurant in this city. The food is a combination of European, Italian, and American influences, including fried chicken, breaded fish, corn on the cob, and dozens of other dishes. If you love French food, this is the place to be.

Heartbreaker Burger – One of the most popular restaurants in this city is the Heartbreaker Burger. This restaurant combines excellent steaks with juicy burgers and shakes. They’ve even added a “mango shake” to their menu.

Bill and Johnson’s- This upscale seafood restaurant features locally caught shrimp and fish. If you’re looking for authentic food from the seas, this restaurant is right for you. If you want some fantastic Asian cuisine, this is also an excellent choice.

Sea Eatery – This restaurant has the same excellent quality of seafood found at the Heartbreaker Burger. They’ve also thrown in several non-traditional dishes for your enjoyment. The Veracruz Fish Fry is definitely worth your time. You can also enjoy an appetizer while taking in live music, delicious sauces, and fantastic wines.

I have one more place to mention, but I haven’t tried them yet, so I’ll leave it at that. There are many more restaurants in this city that you should be able to see if you’re willing to head out there.
